My Favorite Book is called The Wringer. Written By: Jerry Spinelli. The Wringer is about a boy named Palmer LaRue. He is not looking forward to the day he turns 10 years old because, at his town when you turn 10 you would be called a wringer. Palmer LaRue would have to strangle pigeons on the annual Pigeon Day. He must either accept this task or find the courage to say no. What do you think he is going to, accept this task or say no. The only way to find out is if you read the book The Wringer. I think it is a remarkable book and also very sad. If you like sad stories then this is the book for you.
