1) I thought that David Faber's speech was very sad and very emotional. I was surprised that he knew every single detailed that happened to him. It happened a long, long time ago and he knew every exact date and street name that he went through. He explained everything in so much detail and probably got everyone a picture in there head about what happened to him. His voice was very powerful about some parts he explained. The commons was very quite and each person in that commons had a really sad face. He said it in so much detailed and he remembered everything single thing that happened to him.
2) I think that Davids experience's with the Russian Partisans were kind of OK. The lived in the woods in tents and tried to destroy all the Nazis weapons. I think he was proud because they were trying so hard to make the Nazis lose and were helping the Jew's get there freedom back.
3) I think that they freed him because the people in line did not think he knew where the paper was because he was to young and probably did not know of it yet. That's why I think they let him free. Also maybe they let him free to tell his family that his brother died. But I think it was because he was to young to know about the paper the Nazis were talking about. It was sad how they tortured them until the told.
